Austin-Bergstrom International Airport

As the Principal Architect/Engineer for Austin-Bergstrom International Airport (AUS), HNTB will provide the airport with a comprehensive range of architectural and engineering services to support smart growth and expansion at AUS.

HNTB will establish overall design guidelines for the airport, develop, program and design for major elements of the airport’s current expansion program including a new midfield concourse, a new tunnel connecting the midfield concourse to the existing terminal, modification to the existing Barbara Jordan Terminal, a new central utility plant, and numerous airside and landside improvement projects to enhance the passenger experience and the vision for future facility design.

Other improvements the team will address are signage and wayfinding, baggage handling, sustainability and security that support sustainable growth at AUS.
