Accomplished industry leader in geospatial solutions and data analytics will help lead efforts in delivering digital infrastructure solutions to clients
CHICAGO, Il. (July 12, 2024) – Darin Welch has been appointed director of HNTB’s Digital Transformation Solutions group. In this role, Welch will help lead the firm in leveraging emerging technologies to support client’s programs.
Welch brings more than two decades of experience in geospatial problem-solving, technology platform integration and data analytics. This includes expertise in tailored business application delivery and technology project management.

- Enterprise data strategy and support services for the Georgia Department of Transportation’s Office of Transportation Data
- Implementation of an enterprise asset management system for the Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority
- Developing the Public Involvement Management Application and HNTB’s Community Intelligence Toolkit
