Brian Comer is an Associate Vice President and Senior Transportation Project Manager in HNTB’s Kansas City office. Brian has a BA from Creighton University and a Master’s degree in Community and Regional Planning from the University of Nebraska at Lincoln. Brian has 24 years of experience with corridor management plans, freight plans, land use studies, transit plans, community facilitation and other aspects of transportation planning. He currently serves as the state coordinator for the I-10 Truck Parking Availability (TPAS) project that will implement a regional truck parking availability system along I-10 in Texas, New Mexico, Arizona and California. Prior to the I-10 TPAS project, Brian served as the state coordinator for a similar project for the Mid-America Association of State Transportation Officials (MAASTO) states to implement a truck parking information system in Kansas, Iowa, Michigan, Minnesota, Indiana, Kentucky, Wisconsin, and Ohio.
