Hawks brings public sector experience to HNTB and serves as project manager on large projects. He also provides alternative delivery support on a variety of design-build and CMGC (CMAR) programs. Hawks served as the consultant project manager for Utah Department of Transportation’s I-15 Technology Corridor, a $450 million project in Northern Utah County. He is currently the deputy post-let director for the Major Mobility Improvement Program in Georgia. Previously, he was an executive at UDOT who was trusted with roles including project director for the $1.7 billion I-15 Corridor Expansion project in Utah County (I-15 CORE). This design-build project reconstructed 24 miles of interstate freeway through Utah County and was successfully completed in December of 2012, and he spent eight years as the Region 4 director for UDOT’s southern region.
