Respected industry leader with strong record of growth and strategic planning
PHILADELPHIA (July 5, 2023) – Jeremy Colello, PE, has been named Pennsylvania office leader for HNTB Corporation. Based in Philadelphia, Colello will lead more than 200 multi-disciplinary professionals across Pennsylvania as they serve a wide range of clients with their infrastructure improvement and expansion projects. Prior to this position, Colello served as deputy office leader for Pennsylvania.

Colello has been with HNTB for nine years and started as transportation department manager for the Pennsylvania office. As he progressed in his career at HNTB, he became deputy office leader. During his tenure, the Pennsylvania office saw triple-digit net revenue growth and increases in net earnings. His leadership was instrumental in implementing strategic plans to enhance employee retention and recruitment, and he successfully guided the development of the Mid-Atlantic Division strategic plan, covering a geography that includes Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Virginia, Maryland, the District of Columbia, and North and South Carolina. Prior to joining HNTB, Colello spent 15 years as a transportation division manager and a senior engineer for other consulting firms.

Colello received his Master of Science degree in water resources from Penn State University and a Bachelor of Science degree in civil engineering from Lehigh University. He is a licensed professional engineer in Pennsylvania. He is a member and past president of the American Society of Civil Engineers, Philadelphia Section, and a member of the American Society of Highway Engineers and the Engineer’s Club of Philadelphia.
HNTB’s Pennsylvania office has seen significant growth over the past two years, increasing its full-time workforce by nearly 35%, necessitating the opening of a new office in Pittsburgh, and expanding or relocating to larger spaces in Philadelphia, Harrisburg and King of Prussia.
