Recognition reinforces the firm’s commitment to driving inclusion and equity within the industry
HOUSTON (Oct. 9, 2023) – HNTB Corporation’s Houston office was recognized as one of the Best Places to Work in Houston, according to the Houston Business Journal.
The annual accolade involves assessing confidential employee survey responses across key areas such as personal engagement, culture, leadership, job satisfaction and retention. The evaluation also encompasses an analysis of HNTB’s corporate practices, policies, philosophy and demographic factors, all of which contribute to the ranking.
“We are truly honored to have been acknowledged as one of Houston’s premier workplaces,” said Scott Haywood, HNTB senior vice president and Central Division president. “As we continue to grow as a firm, it remains our utmost priority to nurture a people-centric organization, ensuring that each team member feels supported, motivated and valued. This recognition is a testament to our firm’s commitment to fostering a culture rooted in integrity, technical excellence, respect for every individual and the continuous growth and development of all employees.”
HNTB opened the Houston office in 1979, though it has been serving clients in the region since the 1915, when the firm helped build the Brays Bayou Bridge.
HNTB’s clients include Texas Department of Transportation, Harris County Toll Road Authority, Metropolitan Transit Authority of Harris County, Houston Airport System, Harris County and others.
HNTB has worked on, or is currently involved with, some of the most transformational infrastructure projects in the Houston region.
