HNTB’s Jane Williams appointed to Eno Center for Transportation Board of Directors

Leading transportation policy advisor brings insight and vision to Eno’s board

WASHINGTON, D.C. (Jan. 21, 2025) – HNTB’s Jane Williams, senior vice president and national practice consultant, has been named a board member for the Eno Center for Transportation. Eno is an independent nonprofit that helps shape public debate on critical multimodal transportation issues while building a network of innovative and diverse transportation professionals.

The Eno Center for Transportation’s Board of Directors includes distinguished leaders from across the country working in the transportation field. Board members bring expertise in all modes of transportation including experience in federal and state government service.

Williams brings nearly 30 years of experience in federal and state government along with private sector work in the areas of transportation and infrastructure. At HNTB, Williams advises clients across the nation on developing and delivering complex transportation infrastructure projects through innovative delivery models that drive innovation and enhance mobility. Prior to joining HNTB, Williams served as senior advisor to U.S. Department of Transportation (USDOT) Secretary Elaine Chao and acting administrator of the Federal Transit Administration (FTA) from August 2017 to January 2021. As acting administrator, Williams managed some of the largest formula and competitive grant programs within the USDOT representing more than $80 billion in economic investment in transportation infrastructure across the nation.

Prior to her service at USDOT, Williams served as director of the Washington Area Transit office, within the Maryland Department of Transportation, a senior legislative aide to an appropriator on Capitol Hill and in multiple positions within previous presidential administrations.
