Recognition given by the Greater Houston Women Chamber of Commerce
HOUSTON, TEXAS (Sept. 6, 2024) – HNTB’s Tamika Dickerson, program manager and associate vice president, was selected as a 2024 Breakthrough Woman of the Year by the Greater Houston Women Chamber of Commerce.
Dickerson was one of 17 women recognized at the International Conference for Women 2024. Honorees represent a range of organizations from small women-led organizations to Fortune 500 companies, all of which are examples of resilient, passionate advocates and leaders in their fields.
“I am immensely honored, humbled and grateful to share this recognition with some amazing women leaders in Houston,” Dickerson said. “What an honor to be amongst such dynamic trailblazers that are changing the very face of leadership across various industries and markets.”
With more than 25 years of experience, Dickerson is as a leader in the aviation industry, working on some of the country’s most notable, high-profile aviation infrastructure projects and capital programs.
Throughout her career, Dickerson has been dedicated to advocacy for promoting equity, inclusion and diversity in the aviation industry through mentoring and leadership roles with several industry organizations including the Airport Minority Advisory Council, Conference of Minority Transportation Officials, Women’s Transportation Seminar and the Houston region Transportation Advocacy Group.
