HNTB’s Wisconsin Office receives dual honors from WTS Wisconsin

Wisconsin Office recognized as Employer of the Year, with Division Leader Kathleen Matson named Member of the Year

Milwaukee, Wis., (Oct. 28, 2024)HNTB, a leading infrastructure solutions firm, has been named Employer of the Year by the Wisconsin Chapter of WTS International. This recognition highlights HNTB’s commitment to advancing women in the transportation industry, fostering an inclusive and supportive work environment, and developing future transportation leaders.

HNTB was selected for its dedication to advancing the transportation industry by fostering opportunities for women. Key criteria included the number of women in leadership positions, offering career development for female employees, and supporting WTS Wisconsin.

In addition, Kathleen Matson, HNTB’s Great Lakes Division delivery officer, has been honored as Member of the Year by the Wisconsin Chapter of WTS International. This recognition highlights Matson’s dedication to advancing opportunities for women in transportation. Matson serves as a board member and the chapter’s WTS Central Region representative. In this role, Matson partnered with the Institute of Transportation Engineers for the 2024 Joint Regional Conference with the Great Lakes District of ITE and WTS Central Region.
